Nikki McComsey, Executive Director

From corporate accounting to Kids on Bikes director, Nikki has had a varied background that has brought her to the organization.  After obtaining her CPA and working in audit and accounting, Nikki found her calling to lead an organization in which she was passionate.  She wanted to be able to provide kids and families with the opportunity for health and wellness through the joy of owning a bike.  A road cyclist and lover of all things outdoors, Nikki began her career with Kids on Bikes in October 2011.  She is able to apply her strategic and analytic skills learned in business to lead an organization that will provide kids the opportunity for health, freedom and confidence that a bike provides.  Nikki recalls her childhood with great fondness when she looks back at the adventures she had on her bike with all of the other kids in the neighborhood.  She believes that it is an experience that all children should have the opportunity to experience.

Nikki received her bachelor’s degree in accounting and business from Colorado Christian University and her master’s degree in counseling and human services from the University of Colorado.  Nikki is a Colorado native and has lived in Colorado Springs with her husband and mini schnauzer for over 6 years.
