When: Saturday, June 12, 2010
9:30 am—12:30 am clinic, followed by a family picnic lunch
Where: Cheyenne Canon- Mesa Reservation Area to begin and for lunch and Lower Columbine Trail and Stratton Open Space for Bike Clinics
Event Highlights:
- Ages 5 to 12/grades Kindergarten to 5th
- Participants bring own bike and helmet
- Trail safety, mountain bike skills, and bike maintenance
- Open to all ability levels
- Event begins with children riding a “mini course” to demonstrate skill level and thereafter would be placed in one of 3 skill level groups
- After class each group goes for a ride together and ends up at Mesa Reservation Area for lunch
Cost: Price is $15, which includes a $9 box lunch. People can bring own lunches and picnic as a family or preorder many $9 lunches.
