The ABCs Program at Sand Creek Elementary had its kick-off celebration on September 4. Board members Kathleen Rand Burke and Ron Wisner and Executive Director Lindsey Arkfeld were there to introduce the program to the students and share in the excitement of the program.
The students had a discussion about the steps to setting successful goals, why goals are important, and what they can achieve when they put their mind and commit to their goals. Students will be working with their teachers to set goals in academics, behavior, and character and track progress toward their goals throughout the year. In May, we will have an end of the year celebration for all the students who reached their goals to earn a brand new bike. Good luck to the 5th grade students- we can’t wait to see what you will accomplish this year!
